My design journey had an unexpected beginning...
When I first started searching for a therapist, I stumbled upon a website called Headway that stood out to me in particular. There was a really cool feature where each therapist profile portrayed descriptive personality 'tags,' using words such as “affirming”, “warm”, and “humorous”.

This feature was so meaningful to me because I genuinely wanted to learn about the therapists’ personalities to gauge whether I could connect with them before committing. This small detail made me feel cared for, and it sparked joy in me. How did a simple tag have such an effect on me? I wondered.
It hit me like a truck — the designers actually cared about me. My graphic design background gave me the intuition to select accessible colors, fonts, and spacing, but I realized that so much more intentionality went into designing a joyful digital experience; it meant truly caring for users’ needs and discovering how to deliver it to them.
Since then, it’s been my goal to spark that same joy in users through compassionate design. 💐

When I'm not deep in the design process, you can find me dancing to K-Pop and hip-hop, volunteering in my community, and marveling at nature. 💃🏻🌱
